- 1). Remove the voicemitter-outlet valve cover, chemical-inlet valve assemblies and eyelens outserts from the front of the gas mask.
- 2). Pour a small amount of the isopropyl alcohol onto a clean cloth and use it to remove any greasy residue from the outside of the mask.
- 3). Fill a bucket with warm water and hand soap. Dip the clean cheese cloth into the soapy water, wring it out and use it to clean both the inside and outside of the mask.
- 4). Dip a piece of cheese cloth in the warm water, wring it out and use it to clean the facepiece assembly. Wipe the facepiece assembly with a clean, dry cloth and set it aside until it is completely dry.
- 5). Clean the eye lenses and eyelens outserts using the lens-cleaning solution and plastic polish on the lens brush.
- 6). Gently brush the mesh filters in the chemical-inlet valve assemblies to remove any excess dirt.
- 7). Reattach the voicemitter-outlet valve assembly cover, eyelens outserts and chemical-inlet valve assemblies.
