- 1). Disconnect the dryer from the electrical outlet. Slide it out from the wall a few inches.
- 2). Disconnect the dryer vent. It's connected to the dryer near the bottom of the back panel. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the retaining screw on the clamp. Pull the dryer vent off of the vent port. Slide the dryer out further away from the wall so you have plenty of room to maneuver.
- 3). Open the dryer door. Remove the two screws holding each door hinge in place. Lift the door up and away from the cabinet to remove it.
- 4). Remove the front panel screws. Along the inside frame of the door opening will be four door jamb screws. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove them. Store them in a plastic bag until you are ready to replace them.
- 5). Pull the front panel towards you to pop it off of the frame. Slide it to the side.
