- 1). Place the vent cover over the roof vent with the louver area facing the rear of the travel trailer.
- 2). Center the vent cover over the roof vent.Trace the location of the slots in the vent cover's mounting flange onto the roof with the pencil.
- 3). Position a mounting bracket on the trailer roof as close to the outside corner of the existing roof vent frame as possible. Line up one of the slots in the mounting bracket with one of the slot marks previously traced on the roof.
- 4). Mark the location of the screw holes in the brackets on the existing roof vent frame.
- 5). Drill holes through the roof vent frame at the marked locations.
- 6). Place the carriage bolts up through the slots in the brackets. Fasten the brackets to the roof vent wall with the bolts.
- 7). Place the small washers, lock washers, and hex nuts inside the roof vent frame wall. Install two brackets on each side of your roof vent.
- 8). Place the vent cover on the four carriage bolts pointing up and fasten using the washers and hex nuts included with the vent cover kit. Your vent cover should now be installed.
