- 1). Attach a garden hose to the Miracle-Gro Feeder.
- 2). Remove the cap on the Lawn Food's refill pack. Twist the mouth of the bottle into the Miracle-Gro Feeder.
- 3). Turn the water on. Depress the trigger on the front of the feeder to release the water/fertilizer solution.
- 4). Cover 1,000 square feet of lawn in roughly 12 minutes to deliver the appropriate dose of fertilizer to a healthy lawn. Cover 600 square feet of lawn in 12 minutes if the grass is in poor condition. Cover 1,800 square feet of lawn in 12 minutes if it is newly seeded.
- 5). Give the fertilized lawn 2 to 3 inches of plain water to help the fertilizer absorb into the soil.
