- 1). Apply pool cleaner to a long-handled pool brush. Pool cleaning solution will not damage your pool's pH level. Choose a pool brush capable of cleaning tile.
- 2). Scrub away the stains above the water with the pool cleaning solution.
- 3). Push the pool brush into the water to scrub all of the stains away that are beneath the water line. Because the stains are unable to dry out, they will be relatively simple to remove.
- 4). Get in the water and scrub the underwater stains with a pumice stone if they are still visible. The pumice stone is more abrasive but will not damage some pool tiles. Test a small area of the tile first to ensure that the pumice won't scratch it.
