Hot Tub Covers and Spa Covers - Maximize Your Relaxation Time

With the long, cold winter finally receding into memory, spring brings longer days, new challenges, and a long to-do list of what needs to get done in preparation of summer.
The hot tub that faithfully served you throughout the season: Soothing your aching joints and tired muscles is probably last on your list of things that need attending to.
But a well maintained spa will last longer and work better than one that is left to sit for seasons at a time.
Maintenance is not just making sure you have the right pH balance, chlorine and chemicals in the water year round.
That the pipes are not leaking, the jets are not clogged and importantly, that the tub cover fits securely and has not sustained any damage from the inclement winter weather.
Spa covers are your first line of defense for the protection of your tub.
In the winter, hot tub covers protect the interior of the spa from ice and snow, keeping the interior workings of the machine pristine and safe from the weather.
In the spring, as the trees grow leaves and shrubs flower and bloom, the spa covers keep out dripping sap from overhead branches and prevent small petals from getting into the drains and pipes of your tub.
Summer provides a different problem.
The heat and strength of the sun can warp the exterior of your spa.
A well fitting hot tub cover will keep the sun damage at bay while preserving the spas looks and integrity.
As we know from the incessant yard work and raking in the autumn, falling leaves and twigs are a daily battle.
A well fitting, properly made spa cover will make sure your tub functions properly all year round.
Inspect your spa cover at the end of every season, looking for tears, cracks or rips in the tub cover caused by use and the weather.
Make sure that the edges that come in contact with the tub are not frayed or starting to rot.
After a hectic day of work all you want to do is to maximize your relaxation time by enjoying a dip in your hot tub.
Think of a hot tub cover; the proper, functioning hot tub cover as an investment in not only a well running hot tub, but ensuring your leisure time is spent on just that- leisure- and not calling and spending money and time on repair people because your spa is not functioning.
Enjoy your hot tub year round.
A well maintained hot tub is four seasons of pure pleasure.
