Blueberries taste like summer to me. Blueberries and lemon conjure up memories of lemonade stands, picnics, and fresh-baked blueberry pies.We are lucky to be able to get packages of fresh blueberries year-round at the grocery store, so you can enjoy the light summery taste of these beautiful cupcakes all year.

If you buy a pint of fresh blueberries, you will have enough to bake and frost these cupcakes, with a few left over for decorations - or nibbling!
