- Zinsco circuit breakers are often found in Zinsco panels, which have a blue and white brand label on the interior. The circuit breakers also have "Zinsco" printed in black on the silver label.
- Examine the panel or breakers for the Zinsco label, but do not attempt to remove any parts of the electrical system. Do not touch the breaker while wet or when standing on a wet floor. Always have a working smoke detector on each floor of the house.
- Electrical current is powerful and can be extremely dangerous. Do not attempt to repair or replace the circuit breaker yourself; call an electrician. If the circuit is displaying flickering lights or has evidence of excess heat, turn it off until it can be repaired.
