Cell Phone Plans for a Business

    Sprint Business Plans

    • Offering one of the largest selection of PDA and smartphones for business plans, Sprint has special business plans that fall under three categories; Small Business (1-99 employess), Medium to Large business (100+ employees), and Government\Public Sector. Additionally, Sprint has a large variety of specialized solutions for various industries from construction to finance to transportation.

Through its Equipt for Business program, Sprint offers discounts on data and voice services for any company that activates at least 5 "Corporate-Liable Units," along with other specials and incentives such as device and equipment discounts. If necessary, new customers even have the option of opting out of the Equipt for Business program within 15 days of signing up.

Businesses with 5 to 24 active units receive a 5 percent discount on all services, while businesses with 25 or more units receive an even more generous 8 percent discount.

Sprint's mobile broadband network essentially allows business professionals to have a traveling office on their cell phone, with wireless web, email, and access to corporate data at 3G speeds.

    AT&T iPhone Business Plans

    • As one of the most popular smartphones on the market, AT&T offers special iPhone business plans that take full advantage of the devices features and capabilities.

With an AT&T business cell phone plan and the iPhone companies can allow employees secure access to corporate networks, easy syncing with the Calendar app, and the ability to engage in conference calls. Through the Apple App Store, business users can also download any of a variety of third-party business applications for additional features. Businesses with the proper resources can also create their own third-party applications to aide employees in business tasks.

The Safari web browser on the iPhone allows for easy viewing of nearly any webpage (except those using Flash). With support for web standards, SSL, and Cisco VPN networks, business users of the iPhone have secure access to corporate intranets from anywhere.

The iPhone also offers support for Microsoft Exchange, ActiveSync, and other corporate security standards to provide users with seamless integration of their iPhone into corporate networks.

    Verizon Wireless Business Plans

    • Verizon Wireless offers a wide selection of voice and data plans for businesses, which include unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling (with other Verizon Wireless customers), unlimited nights & weekends, mobile web, and unlimited messaging (for Select calling plans). With any Verizon business plan, there are no charges for domestic roaming or long-distance calls, as the plans include nationwide coverage.

There are even calling plan options for small businesses through Verizon's Nationwide Small Business SharePlan, which allows minutes to be shared across all active lines.

With its Push-To-Talk feature, Verizon offers customers walkie-talkie style two-way communication with the ability to talk one-on-one or with a group of up to 50 people. At any given time, users can check to see who is available for Push-To-Talk calls, as well as manage up to 500 contacts online through Verizon's enterprise Push-To-Talk website.

For businesses that require more, Verizon Wireless also offers several specialized mobile applications to help any company increase productivity and lower costs. For example, business ringback tones allow a company to create custom marketing messages for callers to hear, and enterprise messaging provides an easy solution for customers who need a quick and simple way to send large amounts of text messages out.

Just as with Sprint, Verizon Wireless has a wide variety of solutions to meet the wireless needs of nearly any type of industry.
