After "The Island" sank at the box office, movies about clones may have a tougher time being greenlit. However with Jim Carrey close to signing on to "Used Guys," a comedy movie about used 'pleasure clones' set to star Ben Stiller, that project may soon get the go-ahead.
According to Variety, Stiller and his "Meet the Fockers" director Jay Roach have been interested in the movie for a while and now that Carrey's considering co-starring with Stiller, "Used Guys" is closer to becoming a reality.
"Used Guys" centers around two clones who are replaced by upgraded models more capable of pleasuring women. The used clones go on the run in search of 'Mantopia.'
Carrey will next be seen in the remake of "Fun with Dick and Jane" co-starring Tea Leoni.
