- 1). Verify that the lockout button on the driver's side master control is not set to the "Lock" position. If the lockout button is set, the other windows will not open or close.
- 2). Pull out the #13 fuse from the fuse panel using a pair of needle-nose pliers. The fuse panel is located on the passenger side of the vehicle under the globe box.
- 3). Inspect the #13 fuse that you just pulled. If it is blackened or looks burnt, replace it by installing a new fuse into the fuse panel. Then, test the window. Use the switch and see if the window can be raised or lowered.
- 4). Remove the switch from the door if the window still does not work. Test the voltage at the switch using a voltmeter. If the voltmeter does not register, the switch is defective and should be replaced.
- 5). Examine the switch wiring. Check for loose or damaged wires. Remove and reattach the wiring to the switch to ensure a good connection. Tighten the wiring connector with the screwdriver.
- 6). Test the motor for voltage using the voltmeter. If voltage is present, the motor is getting power.
