Headsets are essential parts of our life. Most of the times we use it as if having no headsets would make no difference in our life. Fortunately at this point of time we have advanced in technology enough to have this gadget. But human dissatisfaction from anything never ends and it never will. That brought wireless technology and consequently the cordless headsets.

But his invention of a communication tool did not go in vain. During the World War I, US Army seemed interested in this product and purchased 100 headsets for their pilots. This started a mass appeal in aviation industry for this product. Gradually it gained momentum in consumer market. But it was not only the general public which was the sole class of its users. A huge growth in service based economy also found it a perfect solution for their office environment, where their employees could communicate with each other and the costumers with full comfort. This helped in the boom of customer care service industry. A large number of people could communicate with their customers without any cross talk and interruption. This only became possible because of the new variant of headphones came into picture i.e. professional office headsets.This variant contained few new features with some alterations in traditional headphones like inclusion of a high quality microphone to talk and listen simultaneously.
Recent advancements in this technology are that these headsets, whether traditional or professional, are coming without a cable in them which are calledcordless headsets.
