Tips and Tricks to Getting the Best Pictures From Your SLR Camera

The art of photography is based on dedication, love, color and emotion.
That's why every single photographer uses a personal approach when discussing photo techniques.
Below you'll find a list of 10 tips on how to take the best picture.
1.
ISO (International Organization of Standardization) plays probably the most important role in photography especially when you're using a SLR.
In more simple words the ISO is the film speed.
Today, the digital cameras usually go to 1600.
ISO is very important if you take pictures in a dark place.
ISO prevents a picture to be blurry if you know how to set it right.
2.
Sometimes even with a high ISO the pictures are still blurry and that's why you have to brace the camera on a bar or on a table.
Stability is very important in photography especially if you're in a low light location.
3.
Don't spend your money on a cheap tripod because cheap tripods break very easy or shake when the wind is too strong ruining your pictures.
If you want to become a professional photographer you might want to invest some cash on a car tripod and also on a backpack one.
4.
The lenses are also very important because there's no point in buying a $3,000 SLR and use the cheapest glass you can find.
Any pro will tell you that it's better to buy a cheap camera and great lenses because they do the entire trick in photography.
That's why it's recommended that you have one or two quality lenses to accompany your camera.
5.
The best online sharing application and photo management worldwide is without any doubt Flicker.
Once you become a member here you'll have access to a wide photo community and learn very important tricks.
6.
When you're joggling with photography you must be very aware what your rights are.
For example you must know that you're free to take picture of people walking in the park or of important buildings downtown.
7.
RAW is the best choice for you because these files are larger than the rest and are perfect for art shots.
Keep the JPG format for family photos but for art files use only RAW.
8.
Use Photoshop to edit your photos but if you can't afford it you can trust your files to Google Picasa.
9.
Take as many photos when you shoot so you'll have a lot to choose from for your album.
10.
Pay attention to the perspective because it can change your entire picture.
Play with it and you'll get various versions of the same image.
