How to Take Great Digital Photos - Tip to Using Your Point and Click Digital Camera

There are some simple tips that can allow anyone with an inexpensive point and click camera to take great photos.
It just takes a bit of knowledge and you can soon be wowing your friends with you snaps.
Photography is a great hobby and once you are hooked then you always want to find ways to improve you technique and take great pictures.
Below are some simple tips that can allow you to improve your photography skills.
Only Use The Flash When You Really Have To If you have a digital camera you will know that from the time you press the button till your camera takes a picture can be delayed.
That is normal for most digital cameras (unless you have an expensive DSLR camera).
If you use your flash then that delay will be even longer.
If you do have to use a flash then I would recommend investing in a external flash unit.
The Viewfinder Is Better Than The LCD Screen If you do this then you will save on your batteries and thus reduce the amount of work your camera will have to do.
Reduce Your Cameras Image Quality Every digital Camera will give you the opportunity to adjust the size and resolution of your photos that you are taking.
If you use the higher quality setting it will increase the lag phase on your camera.
This can be truly annoying if you are trying to take an action shot.
You should try using a lower quality setting and take a smaller image.
The comprise on quality will be made up for allowing you to catch the photo you want.
With a little practice you will find the balance between picture quality and shutter lag time.
Taking great digital photos is all about practice and knowing your camera so read your cameras manual and just take lots of shots (as you can always delete them) and you will learn what works.
