Frankly, Good Health Starts From Your Feet

Forcing them into tight shoes, pounding them on the road, failing to care for them are some of the most common causes of aching feet.
Wearing high heels is especially stressful on the joints of the foot because all of the body's weight rests there.
With your foot being forced into a narrow, pointed toe box, it furthers compound the problem.
And you wonder where all those pain, deformities such as bunions, corns and calluses comes from! Why does my feet matters? Reflex-zones are nerve-points, each of which is in communication with other, distant parts of the body.
They are found throughout your body, most of them in the feet.
Because no other part of the body is so neglected as our feet, the result is cold feet (poor or constricted blood flow# and what is much worse, badly circulated reflex zones #being blood circulation is chocked and cut-off) which can no longer carry out their duties properly.
Why is blood circulation so important? The circulation is vital to every organ, since it is the medium for the transport of:
  • nutrients
  • oxygen
  • hormones
  • antibodies
  • and waste
Look at it this way: whatever the disturbance or injury, it can only be completely cured through the circulation.
That's to say, the better the blood circulation, the quicker the healing process.
How Should I Take Care of My Feet?
  • Wash your feet daily in warm (not hot) water.
Rinse off all soap and dry thoroughly, especially between toes.
  • Wear clean socks or stockings daily.
Avoid too tight socks or stockings.
  • Avoid wearing high heeled shoes that are more than 2 inches for too long a time.
  • Choose shoes made of leather or canvas, not synthetics.
  • If your feet sweat more than others, use foot powder or switch shoes from day to day.
  • Walk! This is the best form of exercise for your feet.
  • Never cut corns or calluses with a razor, scissors or other such instruments.
  • Trim nails straight across, and not too short.
Don't cut or dig at corners.
  • Give your foot a soothing massage.
Not only does it relax you, it helps to improve blood circulation to your feet as well.
Taking the above steps ensures your feet stay healthy, benefiting your entire body wellness as a result.
