- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. In a baking dish spread half a cup of spaghetti sauce. This will keep the ziti from sticking to the pan. In a large bowl, combine one lb. of cooked ziti, 10 oz. of cooked spinach, two and half cups of spaghetti sauce, three eggs, 16 oz. of ricotta cheese, half a cup of Parmesan cheese, a dash of salt, and a dash of pepper. Once combined, pour in the baking dish. Cook for 20 minutes. Add some shredded mozzarella cheese to the top of the ziti dish before baking.
- Chop one large onion into tiny pieces. Heat up 2 tbsp. of olive oil in a frying pan and then add the onions. Place the onions in a slow cooker after they have begun to brown. Cut up 2 1/2 pounds of kielbasa and add it to the slow cooker. Mix 8 tbsp. of mustard with 1 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Add to the pot and mix together. Place the lid on the slow cooker and begin cooking the kielbasa dinner for three hours on the low setting.
- Brown 1 1/2 lbs. of ground turkey on a skillet at medium heat. When the meat is almost done, add 1 small chopped onion. Drain and place at the bottom of a casserole dish. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and then add 5 large cubed potatoes. When you can stick your knife through the potato and it feel soft, the potatoes are done. Drain the water and place the potatoes in a bowl. Add 8 oz. of sour cream and 1 stick of butter. Mix together with a hand mixer until all of the lumps are gone. Add 2 tsp. of salt, 1 tsp. of pepper, and 2 tsp. of garlic powder. Mix again and the spread the mixture over the ground turkey and onions. Bake at 350 degrees F for half an hour. This shepherd's pie recipe serves between 8 and 10 people.
