- 1). Remove all items from the handbag.
- 2). Take out the cardboard insert at the base of the handbag by sliding it out of the lining. Close any zippers or snaps on the handbag.
- 3). Place the handbag in the washing machine and add mild laundry detergent according to manufacturer instructions. Set the washing machine to the delicate cold water cycle.
- 4). Remove the handbag from the washing machine and open it up. Place the handbag in a well-ventilated area to dry completely.
