- EA Sports' college basketball game, "NCAA March Madness 07," was released January 17, 2007. Game modes included exhibition, tournament and a dynasty mode. In dynasty mode, the user takes control of a college team and attempts to create the greatest basketball team for years to come. The hardest part of dynasty mode is recruiting. The user must lure high school players that will make the team improve in the pursuit of multiple national championships.
- Look at your team's stats. If you have no players with high defensive stats such as stealing and blocking, try to recruit defensive minded players. If your team needs some shooters, recruit them. Do not recruit players just because they have a good overall. Look for certain skills. Not everyone on the team has to be a Michael Jordan type.
- Try and talk to as many players as you can even though you will be locked between one to four scholarships per team, depending on the team. Broaden your recruiting so that if one of the players on your list gets picked up by another team, you will not be scrambling to find a replacement. Around five is a good number.
- Keep in contact with prospective players, even if they have liking for your college. E-mail them and have meetings with their family. Keep in contact because if a player feels like they are not being taken care of, they might leave.
