- 1). Wet your elbows while in the shower.
- 2). Squirt a dime-sized amount of exfoliating scrub on a shower puff or clean, damp cloth.
- 3). Rub the exfoliant into the skin of the elbows gently for about 30 seconds. Use circular motions in your scrubbing, but do not scrub too hard or too long.
- 4). Rinse the area with water, and step out of the shower. Pat the elbows dry with a towel, and apply moisturizer that contains a sunscreen. You may use a moisturizer with no sunscreen if you are not heading outdoors.
- 5). Use this procedure every few days to keep dead skin from building up on your elbows.
