Weight Gain During Pregnancy - Be Careful

Weight gain during normal pregnancy has an average of 19 to 26 pounds.
This may seem excessive for a newborn only 6 to 8 pounds! But the rest is divided into tissue as the placenta.
A large portion is also used to establish a reserve of fat used during lactation.
Beware of excess! The weight gain is not regularly during pregnancy.
Very low in the first quarter, it increases with advancing pregnancy.
It is on average 3pounds per month from the fourth month.
The ideal weight gain, from 19 and 26 pounds, of course, is not a rule.
Some women are taking less and the other a little more.
The problem occurs when weight gain is excessive.
Many mothers let themselves go completely to real cravings on the pretext that she eat for two.
A primary surveillance Attention, however, that these abuses are not trivial.
Excess weight places itself everywhere: it is particularly difficult to lose after childbirth.
Excess weight is a factor in the genesis of gestational diabetes.
The hormones related to pregnancy lead to an increase in appetite: the excessive increase of the food ration often passes unnoticed, and then it is real.
The monitoring of weight gain during pregnancy is therefore essential.
Through the extent of weight, it helps maintain a balance with a diet tailored to the needs of pregnancy.
In all cases, a diet is not enough to avoid gaining weight, because deficiencies may be responsible for complications of pregnancy itself and health problems among the unborn child.
Eat everything, but in reasonable quantities! As I will always say: Keep thing natural and easy
