- 1). Remove the screws that secure the front panel of the appliance, using a screwdriver. Set the panel aside.
- 2). Remove the piece of trim at the bottom of the dishwasher, using the screwdriver.
- 3). Set the old panel over the stainless-steel panel and mark the location of the screw holes with a pencil. Drill screw holes in the stainless-steel panel with a power drill and metal drill bit.
- 4). Set the new stainless-steel panel into the grooves at the bottom of the unit. Tighten the screws to secure the new panel and the piece of trim to the dishwasher.
- 1). Pry off the magnetic strip that covers the screws for the trim piece on the inside edge of the refrigerator. Remove the screws from the door panel with the screwdriver.
- 2). Set the new stainless-steel panel into the grooves at the bottom of the door. Place the trim piece back on the door and tighten the screws to secure it.
- 3). Set the magnetic strip back in place.
