Lay the tea towel out flat on your work surface right side up. The long sides should run horizontally. - 2). Fold one short end over 7 inches; fold towards the middle of the towel. Fold the other short end over 8 inches so that it overlaps the other end by 1 inch. Press the folds flat to crease. Your piece is now 14 inches x 16 inches.
- 3). Sew closed each open end. Turn the piece right side out. Push out the corners of the pillowcase. Insert a pillow form, fiberfill material or an old pillow inside the pillowcase through the overlapping edges on the back.
- 4). Use a straight stitch on your sewing machine when sewing the ends closed; sew 1/4" from the edges. If sewing by hand use a large sewing needle, running stitches very close together; stitch 1/4" from edge.
