At one point in time, everyone has set one or two personal goals. They can range from losing a few pounds to learning a new language. Some goals are an accomplishment all on there own, but some need that extra incentive. - Pampering incentives are a good way to keep motivation going when setting a personal goal that can be physically or mentally challenging. Setting aside a pamphlet for a spa that you've always wanted to got to, or scheduling a future appointment for a massage, manicure, pedicure or a facial after the goal has been reached can be a good incentive.
- When setting a personal goal such as losing weight, a good incentive to accomplish the goal would be to treat yourself to a new wardrobe that fits your new physique. Many goals have a beneficial quality, but allowing yourself to purchase a new item to commemorate the achievement can be an added reward.
- Allowing yourself a time-off allowance from a goal or in between one can be a good motivational incentive. Setting small amounts of time off can help to add a refreshed focus to your train of thought and prevent from any fatigue that naturally comes along with your efforts.
