How To Naturally Increase Your Chances of Having Twins

The birth rate for twins seems to be increasing every year.
Almost everyone knows someone with twins or triplets.
Maybe you are one of the people who would really enjoy having twins instead of a single birth baby.
There are some things that you can do naturally that may increase your chances of giving birth to twins.
It's not a guarantee but if you are looking forward to having twins, you should give these a try.
Age: Women over the age of 35 produce more hormones than younger women that may result in the release of more than one egg, giving you the result of twins.
If you are older, your chances of having twins will increase.
Family History of Twins: If twins run in either side of the family you are more likely to have multiples than people who don't have sets of twins in their family.
Some families will skip generations and can pretty much tell you which generations will be more likely to have twins.
But that isn't always true.
History of Twins: If you had twins in a previous pregnancy, your chances drastically increase that you will have more twins or even triplets in future pregnancies.
Number of Pregnancies: The more pregnancies you have had, the more likely you will have twins.
Tall Women: Twins are common in taller women than shorter women.
There is no known reason for this fact, but in studies this is what they found to be true.
Take Folic Acid Supplement: A few studies show that taking folic acid before you get pregnant will increase your chances of conceiving twins.
Overweight women: Women who are overweight increased their chances of having twins.
Eating Dairy Products: Women who eat dairy products are five times more likely to conceive twins than people who don't eat a lot of dairy products.
This may be because consuming dairy products from cows that are being treated with growth hormones increase the chances.
Breastfeeding: If you conceive while you are still breastfeeding you are nine times more likely to conceive twins than women who aren't breastfeeding.
While this is a list of common things that people notice about mothers of twins, there is no promise that doing any of these things willincrease your chances of having twins, none of the would hurt to try and see if you can increase your chances of having your next birth a double blessing.
