- 1). Go to http://www.usedpews.org to search for used pews for sale. Here you can browse through the listings available, or search by state, and call or e-mail posts to get additional information.
- 2). Go to http://www.churchtownpews.com to see lists of prices and photos of used pews, chairs and other church furniture for sale. If you find something that you like, contact them for arrangements.
- 3). Search Ebay. Ebay separates listings to show the furniture with the nearest location to you.
- 4). Try to find used furniture on Craigslist. Here you might be able to find more local sales. Purchasing from somewhere local would be less costly than having furniture shipped.
- 5). Visit Anderson Pews. This company takes trade-ins of old furniture to be used against new purchases of both new and used furniture.
- 6). Talk to other churches in your area to find out where they find their furniture.
- 7). Watch your local newspaper for any surplus sales from churches, hospitals and other places that would have the type of furniture you are looking for.
