- 1). Place the cardboard under the center circle of the propellers and trace around the circular opening between the blades for a clock face template.
- 2). Roll out the polymer clay to a thickness of 1/4 inch with the rolling pin. Place the template on the clay and cut out a clay circle with the knife. Push the wooden skewer through the center of the circle to create a hole.
- 3). Bake the clay circle on the cookie sheet in a 175-degree Fahrenheit oven for 20 minutes. Let it cool for 20 minutes and remove the clay from the cookie sheet.
- 4). Draw numbers 1 through 12 evenly spaced around the edge of the clay circle with the silver paint and paintbrush.
- 5). Insert the clock hands and mechanism through the center hole of the clay clock face and screw together. Glue the clock face to the center of the propellers with the epoxy glue. Glue the picture hangers to the back of the clock with the epoxy glue.
