I have been thinking about buying a car, a Used ford in the Rushden area but the seller isn't willing lower the price. I always thought used cars were really cheap but I was surprised when I went to buy that car as it was almost double the price I thought it would be.
If I had known before hand then I wouldn't have travelled that far, but a colleague said the car was real cheap and I took his word or it. I have learnt to never listen to people but to check for myself before I do anything ever again.
The car was really nice, it was well kept and it came standard with a lot of things I wanted in a car. It was just unfortunate that the price was high, and the seller had no intention of reducing the asking price. So my search or a car continues, I hope I find one really soon as travelling on public transport is impossible.
Every morning before I walk out of my house, I plan to catch the bus to work but when I arrive at the bus stop and see the crowd, I walk right passed it. Walking to work is better than waiting at the bus stop, and then getting squashed in the bus by people running late for work.
Even though buying a car will be the best option for me, it's also a bad thing as I will be stuck in traffic on my way to work and back and I won't be able to do anything about it.
Maybe If I was to suggest a car share to people who live near me it will reduce the number of people ion the roads a give me a warmer journey into work in the cold winter months. That is all I can think about at the moment. That used Ford in Rushden would have kept me warm, dry and more prepared for a long day at work rather than a sprint in if im running late or a damp day if it is raining.
