Upcycle a traditional circular charcoal grill with an open ash catcher. Make sure it has a cover and charcoal grate. - 2). With the aluminum leg inserted, drill through the steel leg support on the underside of the grill with a 3/16 titanium bit. Insert a cotter pin and bend with needle nose pliers to secure. Repeat on all three legs.
- 3). With a hacksaw, cut the aluminum legs to a length of 5 inches. Cap exposed aluminum leg ends with rubber caps.
- 4). Position fire bowl on a sturdy, level, and non-flammable surface, such as a concrete or brick patio.
