- 1). Insert the MicroSD card into the USB adapter included with your "Games n' Music." Attach the adapter to an open USB port on your computer.
- 2). Download games designed for the system. Datel has an official website that offers several free games and suggests searching for additional titles from independent developers all over the Internet. "Games n' Music" supports games in the .nds file type.
- 3). Save the downloaded games onto the MicroSD card. The drive letter for the card will vary by computer, but you can find it in the main "Computer" window of Windows Explorer. Datel recommends placing game files in the "GAMES" folder on the card for convenience, but you can also create your own folders to sort your games.
- 4). Insert the included CD in your computer and follow the prompts to copy the 25 included games to your computer. Browse to the install location, by default located at "C:\Program Files\Datel\Games n Music\ROMs\," to find the game files. Copy the files to the MicroSD card by dragging them into the "GAMES" folder on the card.
- 5). Remove the USB adapter from your computer after loading all the games you want. Pull the MicroSD card out of the adapter and place the card into the slot on the "Games n' Music" DS cartridge. Put the cartridge into your Nintendo DS.
- 6). Turn on your Nintendo DS and tap on the "Games n' Music" panel to launch the program. Double-tap on the "GAMES" folder. Double-tap on whichever file you want to play to start the game.
