Balance is essential for your health and well-being.
Follow these 7 tips and improve your work-life balance.
B is for beliefs What are the reasons you haven't been able to live a more balanced life? What's stopping you making changes in those things? These are your ingrained beliefs about the way things are and the way life works.
They seem to be absolutely true and unchangeable don't they? Often they are not .
Ask yourself about each reason you give: who says so? What would happen if I didn't think that? A is for action Nothing changes until you take action.
So first you need to turn your beliefs around and get out of the rigid thought patterns you are in.
Decide what is first small step you could take and then do it, today.
L is for learning Someone said there is no failure only feedback.
That means don't expect to be perfect first time you do something.
Have a go and notice what happens.
If things don't work out as you wanted ask yourself what you learned from the experience and what you would do differently next time.
A is for achievement You will experience a warm glow of satisfaction when you reach what you set out to do.
There is something magical about achievement.
N is for new start If something didn't work before then, adjust what you do and try again.
Each time you make a fresh start you will become more efficient and move ever closer to the achievement you want.
C is for confidence Tell yourself you can do it to improve your confidence and help you achieve what you want.
E is for enjoyment When you've achieved what you want then celebrate and enjoy your progress and he new balanced lifestyle you now have.
