Weed Killer to Control Aspen Suckers in My Yard

Weed Killer

  • Any product that is labeled effective for treating suckering trees will work on aspen suckers. These products typically contain glyphosate or triclopyr, and are most effective on freshly cut wood. Trim the suckers and brush them with the herbicide, taking care not to get the chemical on surrounding plants. Re-apply the product as needed, until the suckers no longer return.
