Most decent folks will accept their failures and feel rather bad about it all.
But far fewer folks will take responsibility for their successes.
This is unfortunate.
Some achievements folks thank god for or chock off as luck, perhaps not wanting to jinx things or allow their ego to exude in public.
This is a real psychological conundrum because if you blame yourself for your failures and attribute your successes to someone or something else, you are doing yourself a huge disservice to your psyche.
The reality is that you are responsible for everything you become, achieve or fail at.
If you attribute your successes, accomplishment, achievements and wins to someone or something else, then you really cannot blame yourself for your failures, thus you have to blame them on someone else or other external events too.
You really cannot have it both ways.
Of course, we all know people who blame everything that goes wrong in their life on someone else or some event in the world.
But, interestingly enough, these same people tend to congratulate themselves for everything that goes right? This is the opposite problem, as it is a hypocritical place between denial and reality.
Either way, if you truly want to be successful then you must own up to your failures and take responsibility for your success.
Because, this way you can learn from your failures and your successes and build upon your personal character, so you can achieve more the next time you are up to bat.
Don't you owe it to yourself to move the ball forward and succeed in your life? It's all up to you.
