- 1). Cut a 15-inch piece of jewelry wire. Attach one part of the jewelry clasp to one end of the wire. Some clasps require you to thread the end of the wire through the hoop and twist the wire in place (like spring or lobster claw), while others clamp around the end of the wire.
- 2). Thread nine seed beads onto the wire -- red, black or gold. Use any combination and pattern desired.
- 3). Thread a skull and crossbones bead onto the necklace. Push all of the beads to the clasp.
- 4). Add more beads to the necklace, nine seed beads and a skull and crossbones at a time, until all but 1/2 inch of the jewelry wire is filled.
- 5). Slip the end of the wire into the second piece of the clasp to finish the necklace.
