- 1). Take the packaging off of your Scotch Tape.
- 2). Take the cylinder knob out of the tape dispenser. It is white and sits in the middle of the dispenser.
- 3). Place the roll of Scotch Tape over the cylinder with the sticky side of the Scotch Tape facing down.
- 4). Set the cylinder back in the tape dispenser with the sticky part of the tape facing the metal teeth end of the dispenser.
- 5). Pull the end of the Scotch Tape over the metal teeth. Place your finger on the metal teeth to hold the tape in place and tear off the end of the tape by pulling in a diagonal fashion.
