Creative Baby Shower Centerpiece Ideas

    • Life with a new baby is often times exhausting because of the round-the-clock feedings, diaper changes and bouts of crying. Help the new parents acquire everything they need for the baby, as well as some convenience items to make their lives easier. Throw them a baby shower complete with creative centerpieces.

    Baby Tree

    • Turn pieces of nature and small baby trinkets into adorable centerpieces that later serve as gifts to the new bundle of joy. Gather small branches from your yard. Spray paint the branches white or a color that matches the color of the baby shower. Arrange a bunch of the branches, tied together with ribbon, in a vase. Place framed sonogram pictures of the baby around each baby tree. Tie small baby items such as rattles, pacifiers, booties and bottles to the branches with ribbon. Create one of these precious centerpieces for each table at the baby shower.

    Towers of Treats

    • Create an extra sweet centerpiece for your guests to enjoy. Decorate freshly baked cupcakes in a way that coordinates with the baby shower decor. Frost freshly baked cupcakes with a frosting whose color coordinates with the rest of the shower. Load the cupcakes onto a cupcake tower. Place the tower of cupcakes in the center of the table. Around the tower place small dishes of things like sprinkles, colored sugar and small candies that shower guests can use to decorate their cupcakes. Remember to place spoons in each little dish of toppings so guests have a way to put them on their cupcakes.

    Recycled With Ribbon

    • Recycle old tin cans and glass jars into elegant baby shower centerpieces. Wash all the jars and tin cans in warm soapy water and remove all labels. Wrap the cans and jars in solid-colored wrapping paper to coordinate with the other shower decor. Wrap strips of ribbon in different colors and widths around the the wrapped cans and jars. Place sand in the bottom of the some of the jars and cans to use them as candle holders. In others place small arrangements of flowers, preferably flowers picked from outside that grow naturally such as lilacs or tiger lilies. If you must use store-bought flowers peonies or Gerber daisies make a good choice.
