- 1). Secure the lawn mower in place by applying the parking brake. Block the tires so that the mower cannot roll. Place the jack under the front of the mower and jack up the front of the mower using the frame as the jacking point.
- 2). Pull out the retainer pin at each front spindle and remove the washer between the retainer pin and the tire. Some mowers use a spindle nut to hold the tires in place. These nuts require an Allen head wrench to remove them.
- 3). Pull the tire off and clean the tire spindle.
- 1). Secure the lawn mower in place and block the tires to prevent the mower from rolling. Jack up one tire at a time using the hydraulic jack.
- 2). Remove the nuts holding the rear tire in place using a socket wrench.
- 3). Pull the tire off once all of the nuts are removed. Repeat this process for the second rear tire.
