Some estimate we have as many as 24-million illegal aliens in our nation, some say it is only 12-million, which is what they said 5-years ago too.
So once we fix our laws and start enforcing them, obviously we need to deport those who are illegal aliens right? But what on Earth do you do when you catch them? If caught as an illegal alien the United States will deport you at your cost, This should not be a burden on the taxpayer either.
One gentleman and researcher on immigration policies stated; "Japan, for example, charges the deportee for the costs of being deported.
In fact, many countries do that but I doubt that can be done with low income Mexicans or those from Central America.
" Well then once they are tagged, finger printed, they can never come back until paid? Lifetime exclusion until fees are duly paid? If they can never pay for the crimes committed or the deportation fee, they can never come back? Oh well> If you choose to break the law, flagrantly break it, then there must be a penalty.
I got a speeding ticket three years ago; I had to pay it.
We need to enforce our laws and those laws need to be followed.
If someone truly wants to live in our nation, they need to follow the laws, not evade them.
I hope you will consider this in 2006.
