Some of the common club drugs include MDMA/Ecstacy, Rohypnol, Gamma Hydroxyl Butyrate (GHB), ketamine, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) etc.
These drugs cause retrograde amnesia that makes the victim unable to recall or remember the memories of the event.
These drugs can be used to sedate or intoxicate other person by mixing it in beverages or drinks as they are odorless, tasteless, and flavorless drugs.
*Ecstacy is the most commonly abused club drug.

It can cause mental confusion and lethargy when mixed with alcohol.
The use of Rohypnol or Rophies can also cause drowsiness, dizziness, and slowed response.
Since Rohypnol intoxicates the person and incapacitates the person to resist sexual assault, it is often referred to as 'date rape' drug.

LSD can cause slight increase in heart rate, blood pressure, loss of appetite etc.
Prolonged abuse of LSD leads to psychotic ideations and frequent hallucinations.
Other Adverse Effects Club drugs are manufactured in less than ideal conditions like bathrooms and garages.
Lack of knowledge about sources, chemicals, and composition makes it difficult to know exact toxicity and medical effects.
However, chronic use of Rohypnol may result in drug dependence as in case of benzodiazepines.
Repeated use of GHB has shown to have withdrawal effects, including insomnia, sweating, tremors, and anxiety.
GHB abuse can cause coma and seizures.
When consume after mixing with alcohol, GHB can cause nausea and breathing difficulties.
