- 1). Drink eight glasses of water everyday. Water hydrates skin and promotes new skin cell growth. This will aid in fading scars.
- 2). Apply aloe vera to fresh wounds to promote healing and deter scarring.
- 3). Apply a few drops of lemon juice to the scar. Lemon juice will lighten the skin and make the scar less noticeable.
