House Breaking a Dog or Puppy Without Being Mean

To avoid being mean to your dog or puppy during housebreaking it is suggested that you should be as patient as possible, they will learn house breaking soon.
Things you will need for House Breaking your dog or puppy: - 1.
Crate - some where for dog or puppy to call it own.
This is their Den.
This will prevent them from going potty all over the house, and getting themselves into problems.
2.
Leash & Collar - You will need a leash and collar to properly restrain your dog or puppy during house breaking training.
Please remember that a puppy cannot hold their potty movements for long so you have to be on time.
The key to effective house breaking is to have the puppy or dog on a potty schedule a times when you take them outside.
Every 2 hours for a puppy longer for a dog.
Puppies and Dogs should be taken out as soon as you have finished playing with them.
Puppies under 10 weeks of age should be carried, over 10 weeks they should walked out on the leash.
The puppy or dog has to be taught that for right now going outside is only for going to potty or for walks.
Do all his or playing inside for now.
When house training make sure that the puppy or dog has no room for error, if he or she has to be loose in the house then have him or her connected to your belt or waist, and be ready to say "no" if your puppy or dog appears that it wants to go potty inside.
When taking the dog or puppy outside to go potty, please know the telltale signs of a dog or puppy wanting to go potty, you will see the dog going in circles or spinning and sniffing the ground, if you are seeing this happening then you should be saying "go potty" "go potty" "go potty" until you see the dog or puppy going potty then say nothing until he or she has finished, give him or her a treat and or big praises.
Please remember that House Breaking does not happen over night, months in some dogs, but be persistent and you soon will have a House Broken Dog.
