- 1). Remove all bedding from the latex mattress and vacuum with the hose attachment of your vacuum cleaner. Flip the mattress over and vacuum the opposite side.
- 2). Fill a spray bottle with 3 cups water, 2 teaspoons laundry detergent and 2 teaspoons vinegar.
- 3). Spray the solution directly onto the mattress, holding the bottle 12 inches away from the mattress and cover the surface with a light mist.
- 4). Scrub the mattress gently with a damp sponge. Flip the mattress over and clean the opposite side, as well.
- 5). Wipe the latex mattress with a damp cloth to remove the cleaning solution, and allow the entire mattress to air dry before placing bedding back on.
