If you're a true world of warcraft player, then you know just how much time it can take (and frustration!) to level up your character, whether you be a night elf shaman, a human warrior or a blood elf paladin. Leveling can be difficult, and at times very tedious.

If your characters have slept for some time whilst you've been away, holidaying, playing on other games, or simply playing on a different wow character, then grinding could be a good tactic. Whilst this can be fun at first, taking on a small bunch of NPCs, it can get very boring, very quickly.

Powerleveling in world of warcraft, is simply the method to fine tune your playing efforts to maximise your experience point increase. Simply put, it's the method to increase your characters levels, in the shortest amount of time possible, thus quickly gaining new abilities, talent points, gold and the ability to participate in better arenas, dailys and other areas you might not have ventured into yet.
