Video: Peanut Butter-Dipped Marshmallows

Hello, I'm Chef Jennifer Booker, the owner and executive chef of Your Resident Gourmet. Today, I will show you how to make peanut butter-dipped marshmallows. Here are your ingredients. Marshmallows, peanut butter, I'm using crunchy and I'm going to add a little bit of agave syrup, just to make the peanut butter a little more dippable. Now this is a classic combination of marshmallow and peanut butter. So, we'll get everything mixed together, which is our peanut butter and our agave syrup. You could also use honey, and believe it or not, you can even use a little bit of maple syrup to mix in with the peanut butter. Has a really great flavor. So, we'll add our peanut butter to a mixing bowl. We're gonna stir in some agave. And what we're looking for is just to make it a little creamier, so it's easy to dip the marshmallows in. And we're looking to add enough agave syrup to the peanut butter to make it smooth and the marshmallows easy to dip. So we'll stir that in. That looks pretty creamy. And finally, we'll dip our marshmallows. So take our marshmallow, kind of give it a nice little dunk, and set it on our plate. The nice thing about this, you can serve it room temperature. You can even pop them in the fridge, or put it in the freezer for a nice frozen dessert. Let's dip two more. And finally, our last marshmallow. Now if you wanted to dress this up a little bit, you could always sprinkle it with chopped nuts, or peanuts. You could maybe drizzle a little bit of chocolate sauce, coconut, anything. And here you have your peanut butter-dipped marshmallows.
