- 1). Brush off dirt and mud from the stiletto using a natural shoe brush and a damp cloth. This will ensure that you can see all of the scuff marks across the shoe, so make sure you get rid of every piece of dirt in the way.
- 2). Rub each of the scuff marks gently with your hand to remove them. The oils in your skin will help the mark disappear. If the scuffs persist after you rub them, proceed with the next step.
- 3). Dip a soft polishing cloth into shoe wax and apply the wax in small circles over the scuffs. Work the polish over the entire shoe until all of the scuffs are concealed. Leave the stiletto to dry for 15 minutes.
- 4). Brush the stiletto again to remove any wax particles then polish them clean with a cleaning cloth. Gently buff the shoe until the surface is all even and consistent in appearance.
