Manuka Honey: A Revolutionary Natural Ingredient For Effective Skin Care

There are many medicinal therapies that are used in hospitals in healthcare centres.
Such procedures are extremely beneficial in medical treatments.
However, these are synthetically prepared and are harmful for longer usage.
From ancient times, people believed in the immense therapeutic qualities of manuka honey.
It is a natural and unique formulation that is the best therapy for all kinds of body and skin problems.
These ordeals can range from ulcers in mouth and stomach.
However, with the use of the powerful nectar, the industry has found a superior quality treating agent.
The nectar is often referred to as "nectar of Gods" by the ancient civilisation.
But with the emergence of penicillin and antibiotic drugs, the popularity of the honey reduced quite a bit.
Gradually its name seemed to disappear from the antibacterial treatment list of medicines.
Now, with the present times, the nectar is used in immense medical and beauty applications.
Its quality to restrict the formation of bacteria and prevent viruses from infecting the body is also a major reason why most physicians now recommend its usage for such ordeals in lifestyle.
It is a suitable cure for staph infections, wounds, burns, MRSA and dermatitis.
It is so powerful that it suitably works on fungi, protozoan and bacteria.
Manuka Honey-What is it? It is formed from monofloral nectar created by honey bees which accumulate it from the floral elements of the manuka shrub.
Other antibacterial nectars are similar in properties to sugar.
Even when diluted over 100 times, the effect of the nectar remains the same.
It is more powerful than ordinary nectars found in table honey.
This can be realised by UMF or MGO ratings.
It effectively presents the strength of the nectar.
Both UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) and MGO (Methylgloxal) ratings are incorporated to determine the potential of the nectar.
This will enable you to understand that the nectar is powerful enough to treat infection from virus and bacteria.
The UMF measures the non-hydrogen peroxide content of the nectar.
It is then measured on a scale of 0-30.
For scale ratings of 0 (low intensity, less powerful) the content is lower in potential hence the performance is also less.
For rating score of 30 (high intensity, more strength) the potential is incredibly higher.
Scores between 10-15 are considered as good for medicinal purpose.
However, rating of UMF16 is said to be the most beneficial for the body and skin.
The Methylgloxal content in the nectar is what makes the nectar so powerful.
It is this property than enhances its quality substantially.
Use of Manuka Honey The nectar is an extremely suitable agent that heals several problems of the skin and body.
Some of the best therapeutic usage has been enlisted.
- Ordeals of stomach and skin ulcers - Wounds and boils - Sour throats - Colds - Acne, blemishes and ulcers - Softens lines of aging - Repairs skin damage - Healthy and glowing surface - Stimulates collagen production The nectar is extremely beneficial for several therapeutic usages.
An addition of manuka honey in your skin and body regime can really create wonders in your lifestyle.
