- 1). Purchase a bottle of red cooking wine and several large freezer bags. Red wine is more appropriate for red meat than white wine.
- 2). Pour 1 cup of wine per steak in a freezer bag. Add other ingredients like garlic, salt and steak sauce. Seal the bag and shake to mix all of the ingredients.
- 3). Open the bag and place the steaks in the marinade. Shake the bag to mix up the marinade and work it into the steaks.
- 4). Place the bag in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Remove the steaks from the marinade and place on the grill or in the oven.
