- 1). Place the white pea stones into a bucket. Fill the bucket halfway or less with stones. Do this job outdoors, or use a bathtub or utility sink.
- 2). Insert a garden hose deeply into the stones and turn on the water. Indoors, turn on the tub or sink faucet. Let water run through the stones and overflow from the bucket.
- 3). Swish the gravel around with a stick or your hand. Turn off the water after it runs clean.
