Personalized 25th Anniversary Gifts

    • Tradition dictates that the 25th wedding anniversary, which is the mark of a quarter-century, is the silver anniversary. Whether you are getting a gift for your spouse on your anniversary or giving a gift to a couple who is celebrating their 25th anniversary, choose a personalized gift that includes silver.

    Silver Jewelry

    • Give silver jewelry with personalization such as engraved notes, names, the couple's wedding date or their birthstones. For example, give the wife a necklace with a pendant that has two intertwined hearts, one with the husband's birthstone in it and the other with the wife's. For a man, opt for personalized silver cuff links, a tie clip or a money clip.

    Silver Plate

    • Give a traditional 25th anniversary gift by having a silver plate engraved with the couple's names, wedding date and an anniversary message. Provide a decorative stand as well so the plate can serve as a displayed item in the home. For a more practical piece, choose a silver serving platter and engrave a personalized message around the edges of the platter. That way, the couple can use the platter for food without covering up any of the message.

    Framed Photo

    • One idea for the host of a 25th wedding anniversary party to give to the couple is a framed photo. Select a large silver or silver-plated frame and a wide photo mat. Set out the photo mat at the anniversary party and have all of the guests write notes to the couple on the mat. Choose one of the couple's wedding photos or a more recent photo of them together to put in the frame.

    Family Tree

    • Celebrate the fruits of the marriage with a silver family tree. Purchase a silver, tree-shaped stand on which you can hang small silver-framed photos of the family members. Put the photos of the married couple at the top of the tree. Under them, hang a photo of each of the couple's children, children-in-law and grandchildren, if applicable. Choose a tree stand that has space to continue adding photos as the family grows in the coming years. If desired, you can also honor the married couple's parents by putting their photos at the very top of the family tree.
