I'm a huge fan of using Internet audio interviews with experts to sell products and services online.
Not only does it radically boost the response of your sales letters, but it bonds you to your customers in a way where they feel they know you personally.
You are not just a marketing guy trying to take their money.
You are a friend, a consultant and an advisor.
However, what many people I talk to have trouble with is finding experts to interview.
Where do they look? How do you even know if someone is truly an "expert?" Well, one way to find them -- and this may not apply to every industry, but it does to many -- is to check contests.
For example, say you are wanting to sell to people who love to barbeque and want to be great at it.
Well, there are thousands of contests every year around the world with people competing to see who can make the best barbeque.
And all you'd need to do is find a bunch of these contests or trade shows for barbeque sauce or barbeque food, and get the program guides from the previous years.
In the program guides are all the exhibitors with their names, websites, phone numbers and contact information.
All you have to do is call them up and say, "I want to do an interview with you.
I'm creating an information product on the world's greatest barbeque sauce and would love to interview you on a few of your secrets.
" And what you do is interview 20 of the best ones.
Tell them they can feature their restaurants or websites, all that.
That they can plug their business and it's free publicity.
And that's it.
You don't need to do anything more than that.
Some of them may have an ego or not want to do it, but many of them will.
Why? Because people love to talk about their passion.
And when you interview them, you simply start giving them an excuse to start talking about what they love to do.
And make no mistake, you can do this for almost anything.
I have done this with dozens upon dozens of different niches, markets and businesses.
You can, too.
You can start making money online very fast simply finding experts like this and using and/or selling your interviews with them.
