- 1). Pull the hood release lever in the driver's side footwell of the van. Pull up on the hood safety release underneath the center of the hood. Open the hood of your 3500 cargo van.
- 2). Loosen the retaining nut on the cable clamp of the negative battery terminal using a socket wrench.
- 3). Slide the negative cable clamp off the battery terminal and wait three to five minutes before reconnecting it.
- 4). Tighten the nut on the cable clamp.
- 5). Press the power button on the radio and wait for the words "CODE" to flash on the display.
- 6). Enter the radio code from the factory (or dealer) onto the numeric pad on the radio. The radio will reset.
